Every one started as a stripped room and a bare wall.

Heating & hot water

Where the money goes, and where corners usually get cut.

Worcester boiler installed on a stud wall with copper pipework and a magnetic filter — **Worcester on a stud wall**Hung and piped with the wall open, filter in before the plasterboard went back.

New Ideal combi boiler installed on a plastered wall with copper pipework — **Combi changeover**Old one off in the morning, new Ideal commissioned by the afternoon.

Worcester system boiler and unvented hot water cylinder with expansion vessels — **System boiler and cylinder**What goes in when one combi was never going to feed two bathrooms.

Copper heating pipework on a board with a magnetic filter, valves and pressure gauge — **Plant board**Filter, gauges, valves and copper set out on a board instead of crammed in a corner.

Boiler with copper pipework, magnetic filter and a pressure gauge reading 1.5 bar — **Filtered, flushed, 1.5 bar**System cleaned and pressure set before we signed it off.

New white boiler flue run and wall terminal fitted above a boiler — **Flue re-routed**New run out through the wall, sealed and properly supported.

Wet underfloor heating pipework laid across an extension floor before screeding — **Underfloor in an extension**Pipe clipped out, pressure tested and left under pressure while the screed went down.

White column radiator fitted under a window — **Column rad, older property**Traditional radiator under a bay, valves and tails renewed while we were there.

Navy vertical designer radiator with copper brackets beside a lit mirror and navy vanity — **Navy designer radiator**On copper brackets, matched up to the basin brassware.

Grey tiled bathroom with a brushed gold ladder towel rail, round mirror and terrazzo floor — **Heated rail, brushed gold**Plumbed into the circuit and balanced rather than just hung on the wall.

Tall anthracite vertical designer radiator fitted in a hallway — **Vertical rad, tight hall**Anthracite panel where nothing horizontal was ever going to fit.

Anthracite flat panel radiator with chrome pipework in a hallway — **Convector replaced**Flat panel in, pipework dropped and clipped rather than run along the skirting.

Outside
